We Need You To Send God’s Blessing

"It is more blessed to give than to receive."
Acts, 20:35

The highest exercise of charity is charity towards the uncharitable."
Buckminster, J. S. Clergyman (1797-1812)

"Not he who has much is rich, but he who gives much."
Fromm, Erich Psychoanalyst and author (1900–1980)

"As the purse is emptied, the heart is filled."
Hugo, Victor French poet (1802–1885)

"Though I speak with the tongues of men and angels and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal."
I Corinthians 13:1-3

Many conservatives strongly oppose government helping those in need. The other side of this coin however is that a consistent conservative is a person dedicated to generous private giving to help others. Only then can we say we love our neighbor and our society. Living Water is a means of God’s grace and a blessing to many people. The main reason we cannot reach more people is because we are on such a limited budget. In the last fiscal year we had $198,000 donated to help people with troubled hearts and homes. This was $50,000 under our budget. It was $50,000 less than we had in 2006. Many of you count on Living Water when a friend or family member goes through a crisis. The reality is we will be here only if God’s people send to us the resources that God has given them to give us. Will you please send us today what God desires you to send to us. Ultimately this will be a blessing to hurting people, Living Water, and to yourself.
